Project Notice Boards
As of today HR PNG has installed and built two Project notice boards, one within town and the other at the start of the project.
OSHE PLAN IMPLEMENTATION
With daily Safety Pre-start Meetings every morning at 6:30am, where workers are reminded of Health and Safety Hazards identified on site HRP PGN Ltd has reinforced the standards of Safety and Health procedures for this Project. Workers are also briefed on works to be undertaken and the Safe Work Method to be used. The project Engineer and Manager, have been reinforcing HRP PNG Ltd OHSE Policies and Procedures during our Pre-Start meetings and throughout the project sites. An alcohol Breathalyser is used every morning to check alcohol levels of the workers.
Clearing & Grubbing
HRP PNG Ltd has done Clearing and Grubbing from Ch. 0 + 000 km to Ch. 7+000 km, about 83% done for Clearing and grubbing. From Ch. 7+000 km up to Ch. 8+430 km it is yet to complete 17%.
Earthworks
Clearing and restoration of drains and ditches from Ch. 0 + 000 to Ch. 7 + 000 done 83 % complete 17 % yet to go.
Grading
The Grading of this project has represented a huge challenge due to the extreme weather conditions, with constant rainstorms and earth movements during 2023, HRP PNG Ltd, still provided an excellent grading stage with the expertise of local equipment operators.
